Youth Announcements 6/10/26

Good morning, 

Hope you're all recovering from VBS. Thank you so much for all the hard work you did last week to make VBS a success. The Lord was honored. 

Please see the following: 

1. Youth group tonight starting at 7pm. Planning to be outside. Rising 7th graders, we're looking forward to having you!

2. The Wilds is next week. If you/your teen(s) are going to camp, you should have received an information email from me yesterday. If you didn't, please let me know. There will be no youth group next Wednesday (6/17) since most of us will be at camp. Teens who are here will join the adults in the auditorium. 

3. Please be in prayer for all who will be travelling over the next several weeks for camp and the Mission Trip. Pray for good health, good weather, and that the Lord would bless our efforts and ministry.

Youth Announcements 5/27/26

Good morning,

I hope you're having a good week. Please see the following announcements: 

1. Youth group tonight starting at 7pm. Planning to be outside. 

2. We will have combined SS this Sunday (5/31) with our VBS missionary, Shadrach Nyeko. Speaking of VBS, please plan to be at VBS each day by 8:30am.

3. There will be no Wednesday evening services next week due to VBS.  

4. June 7 is the Wilds payment deadline. Please let me know if you need your balance. Also, we will have a brief camp Parent Meeting following the evening service on June 14.

Youth Announcements 5/13/26

Good morning, 

Thanks so all who came and made ALCATRAZ a historic night. We had at least 118 teens in attendance, the most we've ever had! Praise the Lord each one heard the gospel clearly. Thank you all for bringing so many friends. If you want to see a few pictures, you can check out our Facebook page. 

Please read and heed: 

1. Youth group tonight starting at 7pm. We'll be outside. 

2. We have our final Willow Brooke ministry of the school year NEXT Wednesday evening. Plan to meet at the church at 5:45pm. 

3. We will have a Mission Trip Meeting after the evening service This Sunday, 5/17. As a reminder, due at this meeting: sermon outlines and Part 2 of the Stump book. 

4. Our Stars and Strikes activity is Saturday, May 23. We will meet at the church at 1:00pm. We will bowl for 1 hour and have 1 hour of open arcade. Cost is $15/player. Please let me know that you are coming so we can get a solid count to Stars and Strikes. We should be back to the church around 4pm. 

5. The Wilds is quickly approaching. I've attached the verses for JBC and Teen camp.

Youth Announcements 3/25/26

Good morning,

Please read and heed the following: 

1. Youth group tonight starting at 7pm. Planning to be outside. 

2. Our Ice Skating Activity is THIS Friday, 3/27. The open skate starts at 8pm; we plan to skate from 8 until about 10:00pm. This should put us back to the church about 10:30. We will meet at the church at 6:15pm and plan to stop at Chick-Fil-A on our way up to Pineville. The cost for skating is $15 and includes rental skates. If you are planning to attend, I need to know BY TONIGHT as I need to register everyone on the website ahead of time.

3. ALCATRAZ is fast approaching on Friday, May 8! See attached flyer and be inviting friends! Register at harvestrockhill.org/alcatraz. 

4. Please make sure your calendar is marked for our Youth Service Sunday PM, April 26. Only one month away!

Youth Announcements 2/4/26

Good morning, 

Please see the following announcements: 

1. Youth group tonight at 7pm. Planning to be inside. 

2. Our next Mission Trip Meeting is TONIGHT after church. Only homework packets are due at this meeting. We'll meet in 305 and start once youth group is done. Parents, please plan to attend. 

3. Our "Big Game" Party is at the Harrison's following the evening service THIS Sunday, February 8. The church van will depart immediately after the evening service. Not everyone will fit in the van, so we will probably need some teens to drive themselves as well. Parents, you are welcome to pick up your teens at the Harrison's at any point during the game or back at the church after the game is over. Anyone left at the Harrison's will return to church immediately after the final snap of the game. Pizza will be provided; plan to bring a game-time snack or dessert to share. 

4. Guys, I am now planning to start the Youth Service preaching class Sunday, February 15 at 4pm. We're getting a slightly delayed start due to all the weather issues, but we'll have enough time. 

5. Our next SNAC Attack is Sunday, March 8. Invite a friend!

Youth Announcements 1/7/26

Good morning, 

Happy New Year a week late. Hope your year is off to a great start. Please read and heed:

1. Youth group resumes tonight at 7pm. We'll be outside as it is summery out today. 

2. This Friday (1/9), we have Friday Night Game Night at our house from 7-9pm. Please plan to bring a snack/game/dessert to share with everyone. 

3. This Sunday (1/11), we have our Mission Trip Interest Meeting following the evening service. If you are currently in 9-12th grade, you are eligible to go on the trip. Please plan to attend. 

4. Bea Chadbourne needs a few teens to help her move about 45 totes from her house into her garage. I am planning to be there Friday afternoon, January 23 at 2pm. I could use a few additional teens to help, so let me know if you can be there. If it's easier for a couple of us to meet at the church and go from here, that's fine too.

5. Our Progressive Dinner is fast approaching on January 30. Two hosting spots (Main course and either appetizer or salad) are already spoken for, but if you are interested in hosting, please let me know ASAP. 

6. Please mark your calendars for our Youth Service on April 26. Guys, I am planning to start the preaching class on Sunday, January 25 at 4pm. If you are interested, please let me know you are planning to preach so I have enough materials ready. 

7. THE WILDS: Please get your registrations in ASAP. The first price increase is coming very soon (2/3). The registration form is attached. All I need is the form filled out and $50 (cash or check made out to Harvest) and I will get your camper registered.

TONIGHT, we have our ministry at Willow Brooke Court. Please meet at the church at 5:45. Youth group following at 7pm outside.

1. Friday Night Game Night is this Friday night from 7-9pm at our house. Please bring a snack/game/dessert to share. 

2. From Ms. Jenna: We sing on 11/23. Please review the song. (attached) Please plan to be there on Sunday by 9:15 for a mic check. Musicians need to be there by 9:10. Thanks!

3. Our Christmas Party is coming up on December 12! Please see attached for details. 

Youth Announcements 11/12/25

Good morning, 

Thanks for all who were able to come to our SNAC Attack on Sunday night. A good time was had by all (of you). 

Please see the following announcements: 

1. Youth group tonight starting at 7pm outside. 

2. Our hoodies are in! If you would like to pick it up tonight, please make sure you bring $25 cash or check made out to Harvest. 

3. Here is the link for the Truth Tracker devotional. Please note when you are assigned to do the devotional. 

4. CHRISTMAS BANQUET servers are needed. Please sign up in the vestibule to help with the Christmas Banquet (12/6). Also, if you are in 8th grade or above, please plan to help serve. 

5. Our next Friday Night Game Night is next Friday, 11/21 at our house. Please bring a snack/dessert/game to share. 

6. Please make sure your calendar is marked for our Youth Christmas Party on December 12. More details to come but planning a pancakes and PJ's theme.

Good morning, 

Hope you are staying warm and well. Please see the following: 

1. We have our Friday Night Game Night this Friday night at the Manning residence from 7-9pm. Bring a game and a snack to share. Please let me know if you need the address. 

2. The Wilds! We are planning to go July 21–26, 2025 (Will Galkin). I've attached the registration form for this year. Please note the following reminder on the process: All registrations need to come directly to me; please do not register your camper online. I will register each camper as part of our group. The registration fee is $50 (cash or check made out to Harvest and also given directly to me). I also have registration forms printed in my office if you would like one.  Please let me know if you have any questions. 

3. Our Progressive Dinner is coming up quickly on January 31. If you are interested in hosting a "course" of the meal, please let me know ASAP. (We have one spot remaining)

Good morning, 

Happy New Year! Hope your year is off to a good start. Please see the following: 

1. Tonight! Youth Group starting at 7pm. We'll be inside (game in 304). 

2. Our Friday Night Game Night originally scheduled for this Friday night is rescheduled for next Friday night, January 17 due to the uncertain weather coming in Friday night. The Manning's will host us next week. Please plan to bring a snack/game/dessert to share. 

3. We have our Interest Meeting for our 2025 Antigua Mission Trip this Sunday evening after the evening service. If you have any interest in the trip (at all), please plan to attend. 

4. Next Wednesday, we have our first Willow Brooke of the year. Please plan to be at the church by 5:45pm.

We've had a good week of evangelistic meetings so far this week, hope you can make it out for Family Fun Night tonight! A few other things coming up:

1. This Sunday evening is our next mission trip meeting. As a reminder, mission team members will need to write Deut. 6:1–9 from memory at this meeting.

Youth Announcements 1/31/24

Good morning!

Hope you are doing well. Please see the following: 

1. Tonight, we have our Willow Brooke nursing home ministry. Please plan to be at the church at 5:45pm. Youth group following at 7pm. 

2. This Friday Night is our Progressive Dinner! We plan to leave the church at 5:30pm, so please arrive by 5:25. Let me know if you have any questions. No need to bring anything except your appetite. I plan to be back at the church between 8:15-8:30pm. 

3. Our next Mission Trip Meeting is this Sunday evening following the evening service. Parents are welcome to attend but not required. Homework packets are due at this meeting. 

4. The following Sunday, 2/11 is our "Big Game Party" at the Harrison's. The church van is available so we will drive that to the Harrison's after the evening service. Not everyone will fit in the van, so we will need some to drive themselves as well. Parents, you are welcome to pick up your teens at the Harrison's at any point during the game or back at the church after the game is over. Good morning and Happy New Year!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas season and are excited about the new year. Please see the following: 

1. Youth group resumes tonight at 7pm! I'm planning to be inside as it's looking like it will be pretty cold. 

2. Our next Friday Night Game Night will be next Friday, 1/12 at the Mannings from 7-9pm. Please bring a snack/game/dessert to share and let me know if you need the address. 

3. Our first Mission Trip Meeting for our summer 2024 mission trip will be Sunday evening, 1/14 following the evening service. The mission trip is open to teens going into 10th-high school grad as of summer 2024. Parents and teens should both plan to attend, if possible. 

4. Mark your calendars for our Progressive Dinner on February 2. More details to follow. Parents, let me know if you are interested in hosting.

2. Please be in prayer for our mission team as we leave next Wednesday for California for 10 days. Our regular summer program will continue with youth group on Wednesday nights at 7pm. 

3. Mark your calendars! ALCATRAZ 2023 is fast approaching- August 18 from 6–9pm. Our goal this year is 100 teens, so be thinking about who you can invite! Our speaker this year is Pastor Kerry McGonigal.

4. Our Youth Service is coming up on April 30 (2 weeks from Sunday). We'll be discussing assignments on Sunday in Sunday School, so be prayerfully considering what the Lord would have you do. (Greeting, special music, Scripture reading, etc.) We'll also be singing the two songs we've been working on with Jolly Jenna. 

5. Reminder: the Wilds is fast approaching. If you haven't turned in your registration, please do so ASAP. The spots are filling up and the week is already closed to new groups. I've attached the registration form.
