Our children’s ministries are carefully designed with your child in mind! Kids, birth through sixth grade, experience safe, age-appropriate environments where the Bible is taught in a creative and relevant way. Find out about the many different opportunities we have available below.
Christian education is a fundamental part of Harvest. Our Sunday school teachers partner with you in helping your child to know God, think biblically, and live wisely. We use Regular Baptist Press curriculum because it establishes a strong foundation on God’s Word in ways that are creative and age-appropriate. Sunday school classes begin at 9:45 AM and last for approximately 50 minutes.
Held during the morning service each Sunday, children’s church is a place where four- and five-year-olds can grow in their understanding of who God is and what God desires from them. If your child attends the pre-primary Sunday school class, he or she will go straight to children’s church and can be picked up after the worship service. Children in first grade and above are encouraged to attend the service in the main sanctuary with their parents.
Our nurseries provide care during the services for children from birth to three years of age. We strive to create a secure, loving environment staffed with responsible individuals who will present biblical truth in a setting appropriate to your child’s maturity and learning level while you enjoy the preaching of God’s Word without distraction.
Cradle Club is designed for infants up to age two. Discovery Club provides a safe learning environment for two- and three-year-olds. If you prefer to keep your child with you, the overflow room in the back of the sanctuary has doors that can be shut to control noise while still allowing you to participate in the service. When you arrive, our ushers and greeters will be sure to help you find the right room for each of your children
Truth Trackers Children’s Program
Our weekly Truth Tracker clubs meet on Wednesday Evenings and encourage children to grow spiritually and memorize the Word of God. Kids have the opportunity to join the Scripture Spies or the Faith Force as they memorize and review Scripture every week. Family devotions accompany each week’s memory verse. Scripture memory is a whole-church activity. Parents and grandparents are encouraged to learn these key Scripture memory passages along with their children. For more information about Truth Trackers, email Eirik Shevy.
